If you let it in, hockey gets under your skin. It’s not a sport for the short attention span generation; it’s a commitment. And that’s how I judge my sports: not by the size or shape of the ball, but by the quality and the commitment of the fan.
Holy shit holy shit.
Not only did they come back after going down 3 games to none in the series (3rd time in NHL history), but they also came back after going down 3 goals to none in the first period. Wow.
Honestly did not think they would make it to game 7.
Three weeks ago I never would have imagined that the Tigers would have made it to the Frozen Four. Even though they lost in the semifinal, it was a tremendous season. They set tons of records and made it in only their 5th season in Division I.
They brought national recognition to our school and hockey program, and maybe a little bit of credibility to our conference. Even though it ultimately ended in a loss, it was a great end to my college hockey experience.
Movin’ on up.
Detroit, here we come!
Maybe one of the biggest upsets in college hockey this year. Denver was ranked #1 in college hockey for most of the year. GO TIGERS!!
They finally broke their curse at the Blue Cross Arena to win the AHA Championship and move on the NCAA tournament for the first time in Division I.
GO TIGERS!
